The Ride
This truly was the family weekend campout for 3 days mid-fall 2005. Everybody had fun including the dogs. Lots of desert single-track with lots of new trails to explore as this area was new to most of us. This area is north 17 miles of Green River. Trails wound thru deep sandy washes to stepped slickrock and pinyon forests. The weekend was not complete without the Finalé – a nasty, bouldered, technical climb above Chimney Rock.
